Testing and Validation outside of individual subscriber requests

Outside of built in error handling which assesses an individual record as being "complete/correct" from a formatting response, how is additional validation and data validation suggested to be managed?

Where configuration of policy data being incorrect can result in an incorrect policy change occurring for a member, on an otherwise correctly formatted request, I want an opportunity at the time of implementation to "preview" the state of all records before I am in a production/live state.

This request access to preview, call, get or query in some way the current state of the record (when it's existing) and compare it against what I propose to send.  Are there suggestions on how to manage this?

             Amanda,

After talking with the Support Forum Team and Cory the current BEM 1.3 standard would support this request, albeit a little clunky. The BEM 1.3 Wrapper API only contains a POST operation so the sender would have to send the transmission to you. Or it could be sent via SFTP.

Note that this functionality is being addressed in a future specification which is currently in committee testing. This functionality will include a "get" function for the receiver to initiate this process rather than the sender.
