Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies (WAEPA) announces that its membership eligibility will now include former Civilian Federal Employees.

Globe Life Announces New Co-CEOs
Globe Life announced that its two Co-Chief Executive Officers will step down December 31, 2022. Gary Coleman and Larry Hutchison will continue to serve as Co-Chairmen of the Board of Directors.
J. Matthew Darden, who is currently Chief Strategy Officer, and Frank Svoboda, Chief Financial Officer, will take over as Co-CEOs on January 1, 2023.
Globe Life also announced that Thomas P. Kalmbach, currently Globe Life's Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary, has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Dolores L. Skarjune, currently Globe Life's Senior Vice President of Sales Administration, has been promoted to Executive Vice President. These changes also take effect January 1, 2023.

NC Mutual Life Begins Liquidation Process
North Carolina's Wake County Superior Court approved a petition to liquidate North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Co. It has been serving the community since 1898 and has approximately 241,500 policyholders.

Everest Funeral Concierge Enters UK Group Life Market
Funeral planning and concierge service firm Everest announced a new strategic partnership with MetLife in the UK market. As part of this initial three-year exclusive arrangement, MetLife will offer funeral support services to more than 1.4 million UK employees, via its Group Life insurance arrangements.
